Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ML)
a. 500 g. Shredded green cabbage
b. 250 g. Crushed pineapple
c. 2 Green chillies cut lengthwise
d. 1″ Ginger cut into thin long strips
e. 20 g. Shredded Coconut
f. 1 tsp. Jeera (Cummin seeds)
g. 1 tsp. turmeric powder
g. 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala
h. salt to taste
i. A few curry leaves
Instructions
- Take a wok, place on medium fire, add 2 tbsp. oil; when oil is hot, add the jeera, curry leaves, cut chillies and ginger.
- Stir well and add the shredded cabbage.
- Stir again then add turmeric, garam masala and salt.
- Cover the wok and let it cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Keep in mind that the cabbage does not burn by constantly tossing.
- Next, add the pineapple and the coconut. Stir well.
- Lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Your Cabbage Pineapple Toss is now ready.
