Pumpkin is said to have a lot of pranic energy which helps those who practice meditation.

Ingredients
- 450 g yellow pumpkin, cut into 2″ pieces.
- 4-5 green chillies
- 2″ ginger sliced to thin pieces
- 3 tbsp oil
Masala:
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp amchur powder
few curry leaves
Salt to taste
Procedure
- Take a small wok, add the oil and place on medium heat. When oil is hot, add the jeera, green chillies and ginger. Stir for 1 minute.
- Wash the cut pumpkin drain the water and add to the wok. Add 10 ml. water.
- Add the turmeric, amchur powder and salt. Stir the mixture, cover and cook on medium heat for 10 – 15 mins. Keep checking if the pumpkin is cooked periodically.
- Turn off heat when pumpkin is tender. Your pumpkin dish is now ready to eat along with hot bread/roti.
