Ingredients
a. Shitake Mushrooms – Sliced -100g
b. Sliced Onion – 75 g
c. Tofu Cut to small pieces – 100g
d. Olive Oil – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
To Make Sauce:
a. peanut Butter – 2 tsp
b. Rice Vinegar – 4 tsp
c. Hoisin sauce – 1 tsp
d. Thai Red Curry Sauce – 2 tsp
e. SriRacha Hot Chili sauce – 2 tsp
f. Fresh Chili paste – 2 1/2 tsp
30 ml. hot water
Instructions
1. Making the sauce:
- Take a small cup and add half of the hot water. Add the peanut butter and stir well. Once the peanut butter mixture has become consistent, add all the other ingredients one by one and keep stirring. Keep aside.
2. Instructions for making the dish
- Take a flat pan, add the oil and sauté the onion on medium heat. When it turns translucent, add the tofu and keep stirring.
- When tofu is light brown add the sauce and stir for 2 minutes, Reduce heat.
- Add the sliced mushroom, add the rest of the water, cover the pan.
- Cook for 5 minutes, add the chopped cilantro and remove from fire.
Carefully taste to ensure they are cooked.
Serve with rice.
